Polar Semiconductor Earns AS9100D Certification for Wafer Manufacturing

Polar Semiconductor is pleased to announce that its Quality Management System (QMS) has achieved certification conforming to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 for the manufacture of semiconductor wafers. The certification audit was conducted by BSI, a fully accredited certification body and affirms that Polar meets the stringent standards established by the International Aerospace Quality Group for aviation, space, and defense supply chains.

Polar’s Quality Management System provides customers with confidence in the reliability, consistency, and repeatability required for complex, mission‑critical semiconductor applications. Polar also maintains IATF 16949:2016 certification and has manufactured billions of integrated circuits for the automotive market. This deep automotive quality legacy, combined with AS9100D certification, enables aerospace and defense customers to trust in a partnership with Polar.
