HyRel Technologies Showcases Summer Intern Success Through Hands-On Innovation
September 16, 2025 | HyRel TechnologiesEstimated reading time: 2 minutes

HyRel Technologies, a global provider of quick turn semiconductor modification solutions, proudly highlights the accomplishments of its two recent summer interns, Danny Hoang and Nisarg Jadav. Both students contributed to cutting-edge projects that underscore the company’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of engineers and innovators.
HyRel Technologies’ internship program, now entering its 10th class this fall, provides students with rare opportunities to work directly on high-impact industrial automation projects. By pairing hands-on experience with mentorship from seasoned engineers, the program gives interns the tools and freedom to experiment, problem-solve, and innovate in ways not typically available in traditional academic settings.
Danny Hoang, a Computer Science (Cybersecurity) major, gained extensive experience across multiple disciplines during his time at HyRel. His internship included projects in industrial engineering, CAD design, 3D printing, and programming on platforms ranging from Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards to industrial PLCs.
“HyRel gave me the opportunity to gain experience not only in cybersecurity, but also in adjacent fields such as industrial engineering,” said Hoang. “Through hands-on work and fast incrementation, I was able to learn by experimentation. One of the most rewarding projects was developing HyRel’s first robotic cell. The entire process, from prototyping custom parts to programming the robot, gave me a one-of-a-kind experience in collaborative engineering.”
Nisarg Jadav, entering his second year of graduate school at Arizona State University in Robotics and Automation Engineering, worked on the integration of cutting-edge robotics. His contributions spanned mechanical design, system assembly, programming, and soldering applications.
“This internship gave me incredible exposure to the entire process of industrial automation and manufacturing,” said Jadav. “What stood out just as much as the technical work was the supportive environment at HyRel. My mentors were welcoming and always willing to share their knowledge, which made the experience both enjoyable and rewarding. Being part of a team that developed a system from the ground up strengthened my skills and deepened my appreciation for innovation in automation.”
Jadav’s internship was supported through the Blackstone LaunchPad Grant program, which selected HyRel as one of only 25 companies across Phoenix to participate. His success story will also be highlighted at ASU as part of the Blackstone LaunchPad+ showcase of internship excellence.
“At first I didn’t realize what a big deal this recognition was,” said Brian Watson, Founder of HyRel Technologies. “To be one of just 25 companies selected in Phoenix is a true honor and a testament to the caliber of work we’re doing here. Both Danny and Nisarg made tremendous contributions this summer, and their success reflects not only their talent and dedication, but also the value of creating an environment where young engineers can experiment, collaborate, and grow. As we begin our 10th class of interns this fall, we’re proud to continue building a program that opens doors for future innovators.”
