Assel Scales Up Its Sustainability Operations

Recently, Assel completed a major expansion of a photovoltaic solar power system that will significantly boost the company’s renewable energy capacity, reduce environmental impact and enhance our sustainability profile.
In addition to our existing photovoltaic system (installed in 2022), Assel has significantly expanded its solar power capacity. Our rooftop solar installation now covers a total area of 3,000 m² and has a capacity of 480kWp!
Additionally, we recently modernised our facility's ventilation by implementing an advanced balanced mechanical supply-exhaust ventilation system with heating and cooling, improving both energy efficiency and workplace comfort.
Based on our comprehensive energy audit, these combined improvements and investments are expected to reduce our overall energy consumption by approximately 60%.
This means that the majority of our energy consumption will come from sustainable sources. Our roadmap for 2026 includes additional modifications and investments to increase our energy efficiency and become even more sustainable!
