"Singapore plays a crucial role in the semiconductor industry, serving as a key hub in Asia for wafer fabrication, assembly and testing with a highly skilled workforce," stated Hermann Waltl, executive sales and customer support director as well as member of the executive board at EV Group. "EVG has long been committed to this region, working closely with leading semiconductor manufacturers and research institutes to develop and commercialize new technologies, including advanced memory, high-performance/low-power devices and 3D-IC integration/advanced packaging, among many others. With our new subsidiary in Singapore, we look forward to providing even better localized support with a world-class technical staff in the region."
According to Florence Phua, managing director and founder of Link Fab Technologies, EVG's longstanding sales and customer support representative in Singapore, "Like the rest of the global semiconductor industry, the needs of EVG's customers in Singapore have continued to grow over the years as the challenges that they face become more complex.
