Trio-Tech International , a comprehensive provider of semiconductor back-end solutions and a global value-added supplier of electronic equipment, announced it has secured a three-year production burn-in contract with a new automotive semiconductor customer across Europe and North America. The contract requires minimum billings of approximately $4.7 million over its term, with the potential to scale to $6 million. The customer is a leading global Integrated Device Manufacturer (IDM), and the program supports a major electric vehicle (EV) semiconductor application.
Under the contract, Trio-Tech will provide production burn-in services for an automotive semiconductor product supporting a major EV application. This marks the second EV semiconductor customer to select Trio-Tech for production burn-in services, further validating the Company’s capabilities and expanding its presence in the automotive semiconductor market.
Automotive-grade semiconductors must meet rigorous requirements for qualification, traceability and reliability. Trio-Tech’s burn-in capabilities, operational processes and experience supporting demanding semiconductor applications position the Company to help customers meet these standards throughout the production lifecycle.

Semiconductor content per vehicle continues to grow as automakers advance software-defined vehicles, advanced driver-assistance systems, electrification, and autonomous technologies. These trends are increasing the need for high-reliability testing and burn-in services that support the long-term performance and safety of mission-critical automotive applications.
The new contract further diversifies Trio-Tech’s customer base and further establishes the Company as a qualified production partner for global semiconductor manufacturers with demanding reliability requirements.
