Nordson Corporation announced a leadership transition within its Investor Relations organization. Matthew Matejka has assumed responsibility for Investor Relations, succeeding Lara Mahoney, who has been appointed to a new role.
Mr. Matejka will lead the Company's investor relations strategy and activities, serving as the primary liaison to the investment community and supporting communication of Nordson's long-term growth strategy and financial performance.
"Matt brings a unique combination of finance, strategy, and operating experience that makes him well-positioned to lead our investor relations function,” said Dan Hopgood, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Nordson Corporation. “His understanding of our businesses, financial acumen, and thoughtful leadership style will serve him well as he builds relationships with the investment community."
Mr. Matejka joined Nordson in 2023 and most recently served as finance director for the Company's Industrial Coating Solutions division. Prior to Nordson, he spent a decade in progressive finance and business leadership roles at Materion Corporation. Mr. Matejka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.
Ms. Mahoney will transition to a new leadership role focused on corporate communications and developing enterprise talent. She and Mr. Matejka will work closely together to ensure a seamless transition for investors, analysts and other stakeholders.
