As part of the France-India Year of Innovation, Safran Electronics & Defense and SatSure have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize their collaboration in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT).
This partnership brings together the expertise of Safran.AI, a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense, in trusted, mission-critical artificial intelligence and SatSure’s capabilities in satellite data and geospatial analytics across the Earth intelligence value chain. Through its subsidiary KaleidEO, SatSure also provides a vertically integrated approach, from Earth observation satellite payloads to actionable intelligence.
Together, the partners aim to develop end-to-end GEOINT solutions combining satellite imagery, advanced AI models, and operational intelligence delivery, with a particular focus on the Indian market. These solutions will enhance situational awareness, accelerate intelligence processing, and support faster, more informed decision-making across defense, environmental monitoring, and other critical applications.
“Safran.AI is proud to collaborate with India on this mission-critical solution. We believe the future of GEOINT depends on the close integration of geospatial data and artificial intelligence. Our partnership with SatSure brings together our complementary expertise to develop advanced solutions supporting sovereignty, security, and operational excellence for customers worldwide,” said Sébastien Fabre, CEO of Safran.AI.
"Earth intelligence is only as valuable as the decisions it enables. SatSure operates across the full data value chain, from Earth observation satellite payload to decision-ready outputs. Safran.AI brings AI built for the most demanding mission-critical environments. This combination is what serious GEOINT requires, and it positions this partnership at the intersection of global AI capability and India's growing Earth observation ambition," said Prateep Basu, Founder & CEO, SatSure.
