TT Electronics Secures £20 Million in Aerospace and Defence Contracts as European Programmes Accelerate

TT Electronics has been awarded more than £20 million in new and renewed defence contracts, marking a major step forward in its contribution to Europe’s rapidly evolving defence landscape.
The contracts, which span a broad range of air, land, and naval programmes, underscore TT Electronics’ expanding role as a trusted supplier of mission-critical electronic systems in support of national and allied defence priorities. The company will deliver advanced power conversion units, electromagnetics, microelectronics, and rugged cable harness assemblies - technologies that directly align with the UK Ministry of Defence’s strategic objectives, including enhanced capability, resilience, and operational readiness across multi-domain platforms.
With European governments ramping up defence investment in response to heightened security concerns, TT Electronics will execute engineering and manufacturing from its specialised UK-based aerospace and defence facilities.
“These latest awards are testament to our deep expertise and proven track record in supporting our aerospace and defence customers on critical programmes,” said Robert Relph, Executive Vice President at TT Electronics. “As European nations significantly ramp up their defence budgets in response to growing security concerns on the continent, TT Electronics is well positioned to deliver complex electronic solutions that support next generation programmes and technologies.”
While specific programme details remain confidential, TT Electronics confirmed immediate commencement of the projects to meet tight deployment schedules.
The announcement strengthens TT Electronics’ position in the global defence supply chain and reinforces its commitment to supporting strategic security initiatives across Europe.
TT Electronics’ aerospace and defence focused facilities in the UK are based in Manchester, Bedlington, Abercynon, Barnstaple, Eastleigh and Fairford. The company also operates several aerospace and defence focused facilities in the U.S. including Kansas, Ohio and Texas.
