Transition Automation, Inc. recently shipped the largest single order for Permalex Edge Metal Squeegees. The international order shipped to a large multinational packaging company located in India. The Permalex products specified by this order will be used in a Security Device application for protecting international products from counterfeiting.
“This order follows a trend we are seeing over the last two years – where Permalex blades are implemented factory-wide, rather than just for high difficulty production,” said Company President Mark Curtin. “Higher level managers are discovering lost efficiency with tooling maintenance, repeat purchasing cycles and frequent machine interruption. Permalex squeegees are a direct answer to these issues with their long duty cycle, which often exceeds 12 months of continuous use.”
