IBIDEN Co., Ltd. announced it has been selected for the FTSE4Good Index Series for the 11th consecutive year, the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index for the 10th consecutive year, and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index for the 5th consecutive year.
The indexes were created by FTSE Russell, a global index and data provider wholly owned by London Stock Exchange Group. The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index measures company performance on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, and is used by a wide range of market participants to build and assess sustainable investing products and other financial products.
The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index have also been selected by Japan's Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as benchmarks for its ESG investment strategy.
