Incap Germany welcomed Bavaria’s Minister for Housing, Construction and Transport during InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin. The visit provided an opportunity to present the company’s electronics manufacturing capabilities and highlight their contribution to rail vehicles and infrastructure.
Incap Germany participated with its own main stand and a presence at the Bavarian joint stand of Cluster BahnTechnik. The minister’s visit took place at the joint stand, a shared exhibition space bringing together Bavarian companies from across the railway value chain.
Held from 22 to 25 September, InnoTrans brought together approximately 175,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries and 3,190 exhibitors from 59 countries. The international trade fair provided an opportunity to exchange technical perspectives, strengthen customer relationships and explore future collaboration.
The electronics behind rail transport.
During the minister’s visit, the Incap Germany team introduced its manufacturing capabilities for the railway sector. The conversation drew attention to the electronic assemblies, cable systems and electromechanical solutions that support rail vehicles and infrastructure, much of which remains unseen by passengers.
While vehicles and new technologies are prominent throughout InnoTrans, their performance in everyday railway operations also depends on the electronics and manufacturing processes behind them. The visit offered an opportunity to explain this contribution and the requirements involved in turning technical developments into dependable products.
Reliable manufacturing for railway applications.
Incap Germany’s capabilities in railway technology support applications ranging from electronics for braking and control systems to onboard power supplies, passenger information and cable harnesses for rail vehicles.
These applications require consistent manufacturing processes, thorough testing and support over long service lives. New functions for vehicles and infrastructure must be translated into repeatable production, with quality and long-term availability considered alongside product development.
Incap’s approach includes documented cable harness testing, production traceability and systematic management of component changes. These processes support consistent quality and help address the requirements of electronic solutions intended for extended use in railway applications.
Strengthening customer relationships.
Following the minister’s visit, a traditional Bavarian Weißwurst breakfast provided a relaxed setting for further conversations. Incap invited customers and business partners to join the occasion, which was positively received by the guests.
Throughout the four-day exhibition, the team held numerous technical discussions, deepened existing customer relationships and established new contacts. These exchanges created promising opportunities for collaboration and provided a basis for further conversations beyond the event.
Incap Germany looks back on a successful participation in InnoTrans 2026 and looks forward to following up with customers and partners on the opportunities discussed in Berlin.
