People and partnerships are at the core of Scanfil’s sustainability work. In 2025, Scanfil made measurable progress in advancing social sustainability within its own workforce and the workers in the value chain.
Within our own operations, we improved employee satisfaction and further reduced the workplace accident rate, reflecting our continued focus on health, safety, and well-being. Flexible working practices, enhanced employee engagement monitoring, and targeted well-being initiatives all contributed to a safe and motivating work environment. The company also continued to strengthen diversity and inclusion, supported by investments in pay equity tools and consistent talent management processes.
Across the value chain, Scanfil enhanced responsible sourcing and supplier engagement. The share of key suppliers with a sustainability rating increased to 76%, while suppliers assessed through EcoVadis accounted for 55% of total procurement spend. During the year, Scanfil conducted 60 supplier audits and further strengthened its suppliers’ sustainability requirements through Supplier Code of Conduct and Ecovadis assessments and increased collaboration.
These efforts contributed to Scanfil achieving the EcoVadis Gold Medal at Group level, demonstrating progress in sustainable procurement and responsible business practices. No severe human rights incidents were identified in the value chain during the year.
“Social sustainability is a key part of how we create long-term value. We are committed to continuously improving working conditions, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring responsible practices across our operations and supply chain”, says Mats Lindblad, Global Sustainability Director at Scanfil.
Looking ahead, Scanfil will continue to enhance employee well-being and safety, align HR practices globally, and further strengthen supply chain transparency and risk management. The company also continues preparations for upcoming regulatory requirements, including the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
