Mycronic AB has received an order for a Prexision 8 Entry Evo from an existing customer in Asia. The order value is in the range of USD 10-12 million. Delivery of the system is planned for the first quarter of 2026 and is to replace one of the customer’s older systems.
The Prexision 8 Entry Evo is a model in the Prexision Evo series of mask writers to write photomasks for displays up to mask size G8 with flexible configuration options, which allows the customers to gradually upgrade to a Prexision 8 Evo in order to produce more advanced photomasks.
“The Prexision 8 Entry Evo is designed to enable customers to increase performance to meet higher requirements as their needs change. We are happy to see that this flexibility is appreciated by our customers”, says Charlott Samuelsson, Sr VP Pattern Generators at Mycronic.
Mycronic’s Pattern Generators division provides mask writers and metrology systems for display manufacturing and production of semiconductors.
