Fonon Technologies, a marketing and systems integration provider of state-of-the-art laser technologies for material processing and defense infrastructures, proudly announces the launch of its next-generation DefenseTech laser cleaning systems. These advanced systems are designed for cleaning, finishing, roughening and surface preparation applications.
The upgraded DefenseTech series now features a compact scan head for easier handling, and smart overheat protection for added safety. This upgraded product line includes ruggedized, transportable handheld laser systems for on-the-go use and Class I enclosed systems for stationary applications.
“In our demanding market, innovation is key,” said Bryan Lee, Vice President of Fonon Technologies. “Our next-generation DefenseTech systems are a testament to our commitment to providing rugged, state-of-the-art solutions to our government clientele. With these enhancements, we are poised to expand into new markets and attract a broader client base.”
DefenseTech Cleaning Systems
Fonon Technologies’ Laser Cleaning systems effectively remove coatings and contaminants like rust without damaging the underlying substrate. Designed for the defense industry, these laser cleaning systems provide MRO tools for corrosion control, streamlining the maintenance of critical equipment and enhancing operations without harming base structures. They offer a non-abrasive cleaning process that is safe, easy to use, and eco-friendly. It minimizes chemical and abrasive usage in DOD and government ecosystems and meets increasingly strict demands from the EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory organizations. These laser cleaning machines include several safety features to ensure they are safe to use across various environments.
From the DefenseTech MRLS Portable Finishing Lasers DTMF-1010 and DTMF-1030 to the DefenseTech Missile Laser Rust Inhibitor DTMF-1025 and on through the DefenseTech MRLS Roughening Lasers DTMR-3030, DTMR-3040 and DTMR-3050, Fonon Technologies’ laser cleaning solutions make cleaning and texturing a satisfying experience. Those looking for a Class I system for additional safety can adopt the next-generation DefenseTech Blaster Cabinet DTMF-4020. Applications include rust and corrosion removal, coating removal, decontamination, degreasing, restoration, pre- and post-weld surface preparation, and texturing.
