Dan’s Biz Bookshelf: ‘The Next RenAIssance: AI and the Expansion of Human Potential’
04/29/2026 | Dan Beaulieu -- Column: Dan's Biz BookshelfZack Kass delivers something truly special in "The Next RenAIssance: AI and the Expansion of Human Potential," a book that doesn’t just explain artificial intelligence—it reframes how we think about our future as individuals, leaders, and innovators. Written in a tone that is both accessible and deeply insightful, Kass manages to turn a complex, often intimidating subject into an energizing call to action. This is not a book about machines replacing humans. It’s a book about humans becoming more of who they’re capable of being.
Global Sourcing Spotlight: Building a Supply Chain That Bends, Not Breaks
04/29/2026 | Bob Duke -- Column: Global Sourcing SpotlightThe global supply chain is a complex, interdependent, and shifting organism. In the past few years, pandemics, tariffs, wars, natural disasters, and transportation chaos have tested it like never before, revealing that fragility is expensive. The companies that survive do so not through luck but through resiliency. For decades, companies built sourcing strategies around the illusion of stability—one supplier, region, and price. It worked until a port closed, a single supplier went down, or a production line froze.

Dan’s Biz Bookshelf: ‘Notorious: Leadership Lessons From History’s Most Notorious Leaders’ (New Audio Version)
04/27/2026 | Dan Beaulieu -- Column: Dan's Biz BookshelfI-Connect007 columnist Steve Williams’ new audio version of "Notorious" delivers a fresh and immersive way to experience an already exceptional book, originally published in 2024. This narration is a carefully crafted performance that elevates the material and brings every detail vividly to life. Even if you have read the print version as I have, you’ll be missing something if you don’t download and listen to this audible version. Most writers focus on one famous person and what they have to say about business, sports, leadership, or whatever, but "Notorious" focuses on the infamous rather than the famous; the notorious, and the so-called “bad” guys.
