MIRTEC Appoints Experienced Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland

MIRTEC, a global leader in inspection technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rui Gésero to Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With almost 10 years of sales experience in the electronics manufacturing industry in his territory, Gésero is an important addition to the MIRTEC Germany team.
Gésero has a degree in business, management and marketing. He has a strong background in all aspects of electronics manufacturing. Gésero began his career in the industry as an inside sales representative for a cleaning equipment manufacturer. He is well-versed with SMT printing, soldering and cleaning.
“Thanks to the growing success in the European market, especially Germany, it was clear that it was time to expand our presence and capabilities within the German speaking markets,” says Holger Hansmann Managing Director Sales & Marketing at MIRTEC GmbH.
Prior to joining MIRTEC, Gésero was the Sales Manager for MIRTEC and other applications at pb tec solutions, MIRTEC’s former distributor for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Now, in his new position he will solely and completely support MIRTEC customers in this region directly.
During his time with the German distributor, Gésero became well-versed with the pick-and-place process and focused mainly on inspection and the soldering process through selling MIRTEC systems. Gésero stated, “I am extremely thankful to get the chance to be part of the MIRTEC family and help develop the German speaking market.”
