Yamaha Robotics and CeTaQ Americas to Present “Accuracy We Can Prove” at APEX 2025

Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A. Robotics Division and CeTaQ Americas have collaborated to present “Accuracy We Can Prove” at APEX 2025 in Anaheim California, March 18 – 20. As with all new product releases, the Yamaha “YR Series” has undergone significant improvements relative to speed and accuracy over their previous models. Now, with the help of CeTaQ Americas, they have independent 3rd party verification to prove it.
YRP10 Printer Verification
The Yamaha YRP10 Printer was tested for the following published specifications:
- Vision Repeatability: ±8μm @ 6σ (Cpk ≥ 2.0)
- Wet-Print Accuracy: ±16μm @ 6σ (Cpk ≥ 2.0)
All tests confirmed Cpk values well above the 2.0 threshold, proving the YRP10 as the most accurate and repeatable stencil printer on the market.
YRM20 Mounter Verification
The YRM20 Surface Mounter was tested at the following published specifications:
- Placement Accuracy: ±25μm @ 3σ (Cpk ≥ 1.0)
- Placement Force: 0.8N ±0.2N @ 3σ (Cpk ≥ 1.0) *All Spindles
All tests confirmed Cpk values well above the 1.0 threshold at ±25μm.
YRiV AOI Verification
The YRiV Automated Optical Inspector (AOI) was tested at the following published specifications:
- Body (Gauge) Accuracy: ±25μm @ 3σ (Cpk ≥ 1.0)*
- Termination (Gauge) Accuracy: ±25μm @ 3σ (Cpk ≥ 1.0)*
All tests confirmed Cpk values well above the 2.0 threshold at ±25μm.
All three machines will be showcased in Yamaha’s APEX2025 Booth # 1828 in the Anaheim Convention Center from March 18th – 20th. CeTaQ will be on hand to explain the testing methodology and results as well.
1 STOP SMART SOLUTION
These machines form the core of Yamaha Robotics’ 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION, which comprises Yamaha’s YRP printers, YSiSP Solder Paste Inspectors, YRM-D dispensers, YRM mounters, and YRi-V inspection systems.
