ATE Solutions Welcomes Pablo Espinosa as Engineering Manager
February 3, 2025 | ATE SolutionsEstimated reading time: 3 minutes

ATE Solutions, leading provider of automated test solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of Pablo Espinosa as its new Engineering Manager. Originally from Mexico, Pablo brings over 20 years of experience in test development, automation, and engineering leadership to ATE Solutions, with an extensive career spanning both Mexico and the UK.
Pablo will lead a dedicated team of 12 professionals, across a range of disciplines, including Applications Engineers and Design/Manufacturing Engineers. With a wealth of experience across various industries, including medical, industrial, consumer electronics, military, aerospace, and robotics, Pablo brings the expertise necessary to support ATE Solutions as it expands into new sectors and continues to innovate in the automated testing space.
In his new role as Engineering Manager at ATE Solutions, Pablo will focus on maintaining and enhancing the quality of the company’s systems and applications. His efforts will centre on ensuring the successful expansion of ATE Solutions, implementing new technologies, and fostering sustainable growth while supporting the needs of existing and new customers.
Pablo began his career in Mexico after completing his Bachelor's in Electronics and Digital Systems at the Universidad Panamericana. He started working at Texas Instruments as an Automation Engineer, where he was recognised for his contributions with multiple awards, including the Texas Instruments Creativity Award and Technical Contribution Award.
In 2003, Pablo moved to the UK to pursue a Master’s degree in Control Systems at Imperial College London. After completing his MSc in 2004, he returned to Mexico and joined Flex, one of the largest contract equipment manufacturers (CEMs) in the world. Over the course of his career at Flex, Pablo took on progressively senior roles, ultimately becoming Design Test Engineering Manager. In this position, he was responsible for the development, deployment, and integration of automated test equipment, managing large-scale technology transfers, and coordinating the design of testing systems for a global customer base.
Pablo's career continued to progress in 2017 when he took on the role of Test Development Manager at Bright Machines in Mexico, overseeing the integration of automated test systems with robotic assembly lines. His leadership contributed significantly to the deployment of robotics and automation solutions for the company’s customers.
In 2022, Pablo returned to the UK to join Dyson as Lead Test Development Engineer. At Dyson, he led test development strategies for new product categories and was instrumental in the successful transfer of test protocols to Southeast Asia.
“I’m excited to join ATE Solutions at such a pivotal moment in the company’s growth,” said Pablo Espinosa. “The company’s reputation for high-quality products and the impressive portfolio of customers is inspiring. I’m particularly excited about the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented team and to contribute to ATE Solutions’ expansion into new technologies and markets.”
Pablo’s extensive experience in regulated industries such as medical testing, combined with his expertise in automation and product development, positions him well to support ATE Solutions’ growing client base in these sectors.
“I look forward to working closely with the team to ensure we continue to deliver high-quality testing solutions,” Pablo said. “My goal is to help maintain the company’s high standards and to support our growth by implementing effective processes that will allow us to scale successfully as we expand into new sectors.”
“Automated testing is incredibly rewarding to me, especially when we help our customers develop products that perform exactly as intended,” added Pablo. “I’m looking forward to contributing to ATE Solutions’ future success and being part of the team that drives the company forward, via both organic and acquisition-based growth.”
Outside of work, Pablo enjoys travelling, hiking, and staying active, which helps him stay motivated and inspired both personally and professionally.
With Pablo at the helm of its engineering team, ATE Solutions is well-positioned to continue offering world-class automated testing solutions to its clients, driving innovation and expanding its footprint in the global market.
