FCT’s application engineers play a critical role, offering technical expertise in flexible circuit design, materials, mechanical functionality, and design rules. They collaborate closely with customers to create cost-effective, application-specific solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong customer relationships and understand project-specific requirements
• Review technical files, analyze specifications, and consult on design improvements
• Generate and present quotes, and follow up to win business
• Coordinate with CAD services and ensure final file approvals
• Manage project timelines and maintain proactive communication
• Support prototype evaluations and guide transition to production
• Serve as the lead technical resource or collaborate within a team for complex accounts
• Promote FCT’s full range of services, including assembly and testing
• Support manufacturing to ensure build success

Requirements:

• Proven PCB/Flex/Rigid-Flex design experience (IPC knowledge required)
• Strong communication, urgency, and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed
